Hooray! Its Monday!

Today is Monday and I am actually blogging on the same day!  I feel like I have worked out although I have not.  All I can say is that I have had a blogging workout, brain workout, and a typing workout, and I haven't even worked out!  So, when I actually do workout, I will let you know...I will blog it, hopefully today and not tomorrow!...See ya later...it is now 11:11 pm and I just finished my little weenie walking workout.  It is Bachlorette nite and the guys tell all!  Then a special 20/20 tv show about after the final rose and behind the scenes. P.S.,.... I had to kick my son off the computer to finish my blog...

Sunday Pilates

It was just last night that I did a pilates workout!  That means my "catch up" blogging is DONE!  So, here we are on Sunday July 25th and I waited until late again to peel my self up off the couch and exercise. Jaryl and I went to church, came home, ate lunch, and watched the movie, "Invictus". After the movie Jaryl decided to take on an Insanity workout and I settled into cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors and vacuuming the carpet.  After his shower and "cool down" we went back to the church to bar-b-que some chicken because our "que" is broken and we do not have the money to get a new one right now.  We grilled 24 pieces of chicken that we marinated and "oh-my" was it yummy!  We came home and I watched the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"  I have seen it before, so I do not know why I felt compelled to watch it again, I think I like the casual and sarcastic way they talk to each other all while trying to kill each other...

Guess What?

I went back to the same ole', same ole' walking.  It is now Saturday the 24th and I must have waited until late in the night before I decided to do anything about my exerising.  I do remember doing yardwork with my husband in the morning, eating lunch and then heading out to my parents house to help them with shopping and such.  It was a long day and I went for a late night walk.  It does feel really good to walk on a Summer night, it is so cool and I love the sound of crickets.  I have fond memories of when I was a kid sleeping at night with my windows open in the summer and falling asleep to the sound of crickets, after a long hard day of playing in the lake.

AH HA! Something New!

This posting is for July 23rd and I did something totally new and unexpected..a Total Gym Workout!  It has been walk, walk, walk, now for several days and I wanted to work all my muscles.  It felt really good to wake up the next day and really feel like you did a workout when you move a muscle and it is a little sore.  Ok, it may sound a little strange to wake up feeling a little sore and you really like it...that's strange...I may be a little weird.

July 22nd...Thursday

Walk,...thats all I remember, just a plain ole' walk....boring posting.  I know the reason it was just a walk and thats because my shins were hurting a little (shin splints) from the night before.

July 21st and I am Getting Closer...

This is not quite as much fun, playing "posting catch up", as posting each day.  This day I did an hour walk/jog.  I VTO'd from work (Volunteered Time Off) because of the slow call volume and went home while it was still light out.  There was nothing good on tv to watch so I had lots of time and great weather to go for a nice long walk/jog.  I wore my interval timer and it was set for two minutes of walking and one minute of jogging.  I also wore my body bugg to see how many calories I would burn.  It was a profitable walk for me, not only did I burn up 467 calories, but I also made .27 cents!  While going past the middle school I found .25 cents on the sidewalk.  Then I found a penny here and a penny there...pennies from heaven!

July 20th...Here I Come!

So, playing catch up on blogging really sucks.  I really am a "hater" of my procrastination habitation.  Is habitation a word?...yes, it is, I just looked it up, it is a "dwelling place"  Well, isn't that fitting?  Procrastination, to put something off till later, habitation, a dwelling place.  Yes, I seem to dwell in putting things off until later.  I have so much to change about myself and so little time left to accomplish it.   I'll be fifty soon and I still have bad habits to correct...*sigh*  So, a week ago I did a walk jog thats all I seem to know about my exercise on this day, and the only reason I know this is because I wrote it down...

Getting Closer But Way Behind

Today it is actually Monday July 26th but I am actually posting a blog entry for Monday July 19th.  I am getting closer to the end of my exercise project (50 days left) but I am way behind this time on my postings.  I hate this catch up feeling.  I am applying the same laziness to blogging as I used to apply to exercise, a "do it later" attitude.  Should I apply a "Blogging Project" to my "Exercise Project"??  Well, anyway, I am here on a Monday present to say what I did on a Monday past was Yoga, the Biggest Loser kind of weight loss yoga, it felt really good to stretch out my muscles.
