Finally Tuesday!
I am suffering from bacon cheese burger cannonball syndrome. I can still feel it sitting there. I had a hard time waking up today and laid in bed until practically 9 am! I got up and got involved in watching tv and was not much interested in working out, so I climbed on my stationary bike and watched the last 30 minutes of Regis and Kelly. I am so glad I have a piece of exercise equipment in every room of the house....and a tv..... I can see how easily you can become a couch potato.
Getting Closer Monday
Ok, I really had a hard time getting this one done. I went to a softball game and afterward we went to Dairy Queen. I had the "works", bacon cheese burger, fries, and a French Silk pie blizzard.....oh my, I felt sick and I can still feel the "cannon ball" I swallowed in my stomach and it is Tuesday morning. I was watching Dancing with the Stars when my friend Cindy called and reminded me of the time when all I had to do was get off the couch and walk in place while watching tv.....*sigh,....she was right....I did.
Sunday! Mothers Day
A nice walk outside felt just right for Mothers Day. I had to go it alone though. My husband had obligations at the church, and I invited my son Marshall, but he thought picking wildflowers for me and vacuuming the house was enough to say I am a good mom.
Moving Forward Saturday
I did the total workout again. It is probably not good to do it two days in a row. We had done yard work outside and I considered counting the outside work as my 30 minutes of exercise, but it felt like cheating. So, I waited and debated this into the evening....tick, tock,.....I finally went downstairs and did the Total Gym for 30 minutes.
Going Waaaay Back Friday
I didn't post to my blog but I did workout! I did the Total Gym, its a good 30 minute routine and it works all the muscles. It is in a downstairs bedroom and so when people are watching tv in the living room and people are watching tv in the upstairs bedroom.....I can go downstairs and workout, ....without an audience!
